I am Abhishek Kumar Gupta , 3rd Year Undergraduate Student at Indian Institute of Technology Ropar, pursuing Bachelors of Technology (B-Tech) in Computer Science And Engineering. Skilled in C, C++, python, data structures and algorithms.

I have a sound background in Computer Science in Engineering and I can chip-in efficiently in your ongoing projects in the related field. I am not restricted to any particular domain or technology stack and I am open to work in any field which seems interesting and is worth doing.

Software Developer Intern - Codenatives

Developed a Resume parsing API for parsing pdf and docx resumes. Deployed the code on cloud functions. Designed a Bigquery schema for storing data on extraction. Increased the accuracy of parser upto 80%.

Software Developer Intern - IIT Ropar

Developed a Face Attendance Management System.Developed Flask application for attendance management of IIT Ropar students using face recognition. Designed a Relational model for face attendance management system in MySQL.Used MTCNN for face detection.

Face Attendance System

Created a web application for handling attendance for students of IIT Ropar using face recognition. Used MTCNN and Facenet for face recognition, MySQL for database handling, Flask framework for creating the web app. Deployed the webapp on Google compute instance. Teacher can simply click a photo of his class and upload it to mark attendance of students present.

Shortest PathFinder

Implemented algorithms which includes Breadth First Algorithm, A* Algorithm for finding shortest path between two points in Javascript. Created a web app for visualisation of the algorithms. Supports both non-diagonal and diagonal traversal.

Apache App

Created a RISC-V Simulator to run assembly codes using RISC-V ISA.Available in two versions pipelined and non pipelined. Five Staged Pipelined version was implemented to improve the performance and running time.Created a GUI using PyQT to make it more user friendly.

BioPack App

Developed a Windows PC application for use in Design Lab, Mechanical Department.The Application provides user interface for dataset of Images,text files and videos. Used C# Google Drive API, .NET wrapper for interacting with data stored in Drive.

Live Object detection

mplemented object detection model using python programming language and openCV along with accuracy% displaced in the output image.The YOLO(You Look Only Once) is a single stage object detector which is pretrained on the COCO dataset.Can identify upto 80 different classes including humans,cars,trucks, many more.Used Flask to create a web app to show the live detections.

iMAGE DENOISING

The aim of this project is to remove noise from images in a dataset and give a clear image so that further operations can be done on the dataset effectively. Implemented the deep learning model using tensorflow and python programming language. The model was trained on the MNIST Dataset which consists images of handwritten digits of 28x28 size.

NGINX LOGGER

A useful tool to monitor performance in realtime and troubleshoot applications running on Nginx web servers.

Railway reservation system

A platform similar to IRCTC inorder to book train tickets online, search for trains , and search for the best route from one place to another.
